iPad Mini 3 Wish List Begins Taking Shape – Improving on Perfection

Isn’t it a bit early to be talking about the iPad Mini 3 and drumming up wish-lists?

Of course not – one of the best things about any product launch is getting right back into the rumor mill and salivating over what’s to come next!
Most reviews penned about the iPad Mini 2 so far paint a picture of a device which is…and I quote…almost perfect. There’s little to nothing you can put your finger on in terms of design flaw or problems with functionality. Instead, it’s all about nit-picking and asking for a larger dose of the same.
Or in other words, if the iPad Mini 3 does turn out to be a modest incremental upgrade, it might be the first for some time that isn’t panned for not changing the game.
Some of the most eager folks of all are of course the team behind TechRadar, who have already gone on record to state precisely what they would like to see from the iPad Mini 3. It might be some time away yet, but see if you agree with any entries from the wish-list they came up with, which includes:
Touch ID Sensor – Pretty much a given as Apple’s fingerprint scanner is expected to become a standard feature across the range. Box ticked.
More Closet Space – An entry level iPad Mini 2 with 16GB is just about ok…by this time next year, it won’t be. Apple really needs to think about upping the ante in entry-level storage as it’s not like it costs much more to slap another 16GB in…as recent and rather damning reports revealed.
Pressure-Sensitive Touchscreen – Rumored for a while now and likely to debut next year, the technology essentially allows for different pressure levels to be picked up on and thus open up a whole new playing field for the touch-based UI.
Wireless Charging – It’s already a pretty standard feature offered with plenty of rival Smartphones and tablets, why not the iPad Mini 3?
Improved Camera – Let’s face it, 5-megapixels is already starting to sound a bit crap. It isn’t though…the camera on the iPad Mini 2 is pretty brilliant…but next time around it would be nice to see things breaking into double-digits.
Micro-SD Card Slot – Yeah, right!
A Bigger Battery – There are some things in life you just cannot get too much or even enough of, one of which being battery life. This time next year, we’d like to see day-long performance become standard…if it’s not asking a little too much.
